They are not. That is why we call them Gentle Giants. This big fish is not dangerous or curious at all. They actually look like they do not care that you are swimming beside them if you respect their space while they are swimming around. You can feel 100% safe doing this experience. In almost 20 years of doing this tour we had never had an accident swimming with whale sharks.

They are considered a shark but the truth is that the whale shark is the biggest fish in the ocean. They can grow up to 60 ft.

Season starts from May 15th to September 17th every year, but the best time is usually between mid-June and mid-August.  We recommend you to book your tour with some days left once here so like that we can give you more options to find the best day on weather conditions and tour conditions to make it the best for you.

When we are very lucky we can find about 200-300 whale sharks in the same area. The record is about 700 in a single day. On a very good day we will spot around 50 to 100 whale sharks swimming around all the area.

IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH WHALE SHARKS. Its actually one of the most important regulations of this activity. We follow all the rules so like that we make the less impact to them.  

There is no guarantee at all to find the whale sharks, they are free in the massive ocean. Normally we are able to find them and swim with them 98% of the times but there is still a possibility that we can not find them. In that case you will not have any refund of any kind in case we do not find them. 

Yes, you can book a private tour to swim with whale sharks in Mexico, Isla Mujeres for you and your family or friends. The big difference is the flexibility with the time and other features of the tour like the snorkeling, food, drinks etc. 

You will have a private boat and crew only for you and that will be way confortable and on your way. If you do not wat the private tour you only need to book the shared one.

we have the capacity of maximum 10 people per group  + crew on board in whale shark tours. In our boats can fit in about 16 people so of course you will be safe and confortable while doing this activity 

No, not at all. You can make this tour even if you are not a good swimmer. We have life vests and expert tour guides to help you out in the water. 

Yes, you will get back all your money. But we recommend you to book the tour in the first 2 days of your vacations like that we can re-schedule your day tour to another if is possible for you. 

Yes you can get seasick if you are not used to sea motion thats why we recommend to you to take any medication that may help you with this. Be sure that you are not allergic to them so it is safe for you to take one or two right before your tour starts. 

Yes we do! you only need to share to us where are you staying to schedule your pick up service early in the morning of your tour. Do not forget to get in touch to share that information is very important. 

Longsleeve shirts or any clothes that protects you from sun, towels, sandals, hats, extra cash money for tips , sunblock and sunglasses. 

CANCELATION AND REFUND Policy

100% refund will apply in the following cases:

If the service is cancelled by the supplier. For example in case of bad weather and reschedule is not possible.

If the cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the day of the tour.

If a date change is requested at least 24 hours prior to the date of the tour and a new date cannot be agreed upon.

50% refund will apply:

If the cancellation is made 24 hrs or less of the day before the tour.

If a date change is requested 24 hrs or less on the day before the tour, and a new date cannot be agreed upon.

No refunds will apply:

If the client does not show on the date and time of the tour with our previous cancellation
