A family-run boat and marine adventure company based in Isla Mujeres, where whale sharks, vibrant reefs and crystal-clear water are part of everyday life.
More than 23 years on the water
A story that grew out of a life at sea
Before tourism was his path, Juan spent many years as a commercial fisherman, navigating these waters long before snorkeling tours existed. Over time, what once provided a livelihood also became something he felt responsible for protecting.
Juan chose to step away from commercial fishing and move into responsible marine tourism: to protect ocean wildlife rather than exploit it, and to share meaningful, respectful experiences. That decision became the foundation of Isla Sea Tours.
His son Nano quite literally grew up on the ocean, learning the currents, the seasons and the behavior of marine life beside his father. Today Nano continues that legacy, guiding guests with the same passion and respect.
For us, this isn't just a tour. It's a way of life, and we're honored to share it with you.
