Snorkeling Tour FAQ
What does the snorkeling tour include?
Snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel, fins and life jacket), a certified bilingual guide, marine park fees and a safety briefing before departure.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Basic swimming skills are recommended. Our guides assist you throughout and life jackets are mandatory for everyone's safety.
Where do we snorkel?
Usually 2 to 3 top spots: El Farito (a shallow reef with lots of fish), Manchones Reef (coral gardens) and the MUSA Underwater Museum, weather and conditions permitting.
How long is the snorkeling tour?
Most tours last between 2.5 and 3 hours, depending on sea conditions and group size.
What should I bring?
A towel, swimsuit, sun-protective clothing, sunglasses and a hat. A waterproof camera is optional.
Are children allowed?
Yes. Children 4 years and older can join with a responsible adult.
Is the tour safe for beginners?
Absolutely. Our guides are certified, the reefs are shallow and currents are usually mild. We give safety instructions and stay close to the group.
What time do tours depart?
Shared tours depart in the morning at 10:30 AM. Private tours have a customizable time. The exact schedule depends on the season, so contact us to confirm availability.
Can I bring my own snorkeling gear?
Yes, you are welcome to. Just let us know at check-in.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the port authority does not allow tours because of weather, you can change your date or receive a full refund.
Do you offer private snorkeling tours?
Yes. Private snorkeling tours start at $469 USD for 1 to 6 people, ideal for families, couples and groups.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or change the date of your tour up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund or a date change. Changes or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour, and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund. If the port authority does not allow tours because of weather, you can change your date or receive a full refund.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, cash in USD or MXN, and bank transfer for private tours on request.
